"The chef moved here from Cristina's after Nick Kontos passed away. They had recently been named Best Italian in Montgomery County and chef has maintained that quality. Excellent fried zucchini. The chicken marsala is authentically thin tender hard to find it that yummy way, with a sauce that sings. We also quite enjoy the shrimp Regina stuffed with crabmeat. The veggies are relatively plain but very flavorful. Good dressing on the salad good greek bread. The food carries out well. :"

"We came for my boyfrienda birthday. It was extremely disapppointing. The food was awful and over priced. There was also limited selection. The caesar salad was terrible and full of the ier yellow lettuce that made it bitter. I hadnt been to the restaurant for years and it has significantly gone down hill. I was speaking to an acquaintance and he had the same opinion.Service was ok but slow. Actually the busboy forget to give one of us water and when we asked for it, he argued with us and said he did give it.Truly was a waste of moey but more importantly ruined the birthday celebration."

"Theres really only two things I order from here. That is the shrimp eggroll and general tso tvp . Very few places in DC area do TVP for us folks who like to eat vegan on occasion. This place does it and does it well! The taste is good and esp the lunch combo is a good value. Highly recommend for your plant based cheat meal! The shrimp egg roll is also very tasty and flavorful."

"I enjoyed a wonderful dinner outside for Labor Day with a friend and recommend Vicino Restaurante. At first I wasn't sure, but then... This is the kind of place where you really fill in good Italian cuisine and bring home some remains... and you order a beautiful bottle of wine and have coffee or cappuccino and tartufo or spumoni or tiramisu for dessert and you do not then go out the door with empty bags because you spend so much money to get satiated... You get more than what you pay here... or at least it feels safe like it with its generous portions... You could probably beat up in some Italian music outside the ambience out there to clear a few street noises... It's in the middle of downtown Silver Spring. Of course... We could have eaten inside, but the outside was nice when the weather was nice... The place was not too classic or flashy, but we had white tablecloths and red cloth napkins and the service was casual and very good. I will return for filling and delicious Italian cuisine. Delicious Italian food that does not empty your purse."

"Oh many, so many vegan options and so little time. Everything we had was delicious. The desserts are out of this world. I recomend sharing Entrees so that you can try different things and definitely leave Room to split a few desserts."

"Ever since my husband and I took my parents here, it has been our go to double date restaurant. We love their brunch but ever since the pandemic, we haven't been back. We love all their food so we usually pick different dishes and share so we can try everything. Recently, I ordered an espresso martini Nd they did not disappoint. Also, try the nutella pizza with your choice of fruit toppings. Yum!"
