"My wife, sister-in-law and I went here for lunch. We came down from North Charlotte and it was our first time. The food was great. I had the southwest egg rolls and they were perfect. They came out hot and had a nice but not overpowering kick. The others had mushroom Swiss burgers that they said were perfectly cooked and were very fresh. The thing they liked most were the beer battered onion rings. I had a couple and they were awesome. We each had a beer or two and they were fresh and very welcomed on a hot day. We do not come to Gastonia very often but will come down for the food at The Whiskey Mill more often."

"A salad bar! Yay, Covid is over. Got the fried white fish because I needed a flaky center and almost crunchy crust. Tasted fresh, good enough for me. Partner got whole catfish, piled high very decent portions. Nani got the flounder, yummy. All in all, basket of hushpuppies, baked potato, and the pitcher of sweet tea was left for us on the table. Kim was our server, she 's basically family now. Don 't pay extra for salt and pepper because it did not taste like it was added."

"I've been going to ROs for 45 years and my Kids. Ever Thursday night ROs. Now that I live in Charlotte. I only get there once in a while. But last few time this place has fallen off on the Food and Service. Last Thursday the Wife and I decided to make a trip to ROs. Tell you this much after 45 years. This will be the last time of ever going to ROs. The food was so sorry I threw it in the trash. And told my Wife what has happened to the good places to have a Good Drive in ? To the Management. What has happened ? As I seen when pulled up on a Friday Night only 2 cars getting service. On myself after 45 years. There will not ever be another time wasted on the property"

"We were at Franklin Square so we stopped to give this place a try. Burgers were good, and the fries were fantastic. The j chicken was super spicy, but tasty. Just like every other restaurant it’s best to dine in. Burgers and fries are better when eaten right off the grill and right out of the fryer. I don’t ever go off of reviews from people that order visa Uber Eats or Door Dash because there’s no telling how long it took before it was delivered. Most bad reviews are from people that should be complaining about the delivery services not the actual restaurants. We will definitely eat here again. Two thumbs up!"
