"I must say that the fish and the chips that my wife and I had, this lunchtime was the best we ever tried. the chips were perfect and not too fat and the cadjau was amazing. we're both approaching 80 and. have stopped driving so we have to rely on someone who collects it for us, otherwise we would have it every week."

"We picked up fish chips here today, the cod rock were all very good, the only disappointment was the skate, on the thin side so not much fish ! The chips were very good, all items despite being deep fried didn't taste at all fatty or greasy. When next in the area we will return."

"My parents and I arrived in Burnham after a 9 hour car journey. We new nothing of the place so googled local takeaways and pizza island was the first to come up. The staff were really friendly and funny. The pizza was amazing and delicious and was definitely made with fresh ingredients. The chips are not skinny and not thick, just perfect. If we are in the area again we will definitely go back!"
