"We were looking for lunch and that was one of the only spots in the area. The food was not bad, but the glacier view through the large windows and wooden decoration felt so cozy. There were many filled animals placed throughout the dining area. Alaskans love hunting! $16.75 Glacier Burger bacon Cheeseburger w/ crinkle cut fries: Burger was fine, decent boiled, not too dry. $19.75 Cod Sandwich w/ Onion Rings: Not bad, 2 crispy fried cods, crispy fried onion rings $19.75 salmon sandwich w/ Onion rings: salmon fillet looked like it was ground into a salmon cake form All sandwiches were served with roasted Ciabatta bread. $5 Blueberry Pie: This place should have good cake, so we decided to share the blueberry cake. All right. We had a pleasant, filling meal. The real star of the meal was the view."

"First time visit... Crazy good burgers! They have some great combos on the menus... I try to do keto so finding a lettuce wrap burger is hard up here in AK... But burger Jim's had it! Staff is friendly and helpful. Looking to go back to eat there again!"

"Nice spot with good prices. Great to relax on picnic benches on a nice day. I had the rainbow sorbet and loved it. A good variety of flavor options for ice cream and plenty of foods to choose from. I want to go back again to try a sherbert shake!"

"They open around 11a, but even 3 minutes later they didn't let us in the door, although it was 15 degrees outside. a waitress moved in late and told us that they would open after we were back in the car, but we didn't want to wait back in the cold."

"5 stars for the great location. Sip a beer looking at the beautiful Matanuska glacier. The food was delicious. If you get hold of the corner spot overlooking the glacier, you could spend endless time just staring at the beauty. The lodge has great all wood ambience with taxidermy Alaskan wild animals. I got the grilled salmon sandwich and was pretty good."
