"Every time we come here, everything is delicious!! Most recent visit, my boyfriend had the special- crab legs, shrimp, sausage, egg, potatoes and corn. I had the mussels and scallops, with potatoes and corn. We shared everything and cleaned the plates! Always hits the spot!"

"My Wife, her Aunt and I came here for Thanksgiving Day lunch and ordered off of their Thanksgiving Day menu. Service from Michael was great. Food was very good and fast. This was our first visit to J Gilbert's . We enjoyed it. I look forward to trying food from their regular menu"

"We’ve eaten at j. Gilbert’s a hand full of times and I will say this was the most disappointing. I ordered a KC strip that was cooked Ok but the steak was still tough and didn’t have great flavor. The better half had a pork chop that was under cookedAnd was extremely fatty. I ordered the sorbet which was horrible. The replaced it for the Creme Brûlée which was fine. For a for two people I expect better. Any chain steakhouse is better"
In nice weather you can even eat and drink in the outdoor area.

"If you enter an ethnic restaurant and don't listen to English, it means just one thing that this place is legitimate. This restaurant is one of these places. Most males are family, and seem a lot of fun eating here. I ordered Chicha Morada, Ceviche, Tamal and a seafood mix. Tamal is very good. I think the Ceviche is better than the one I had in Cusco, Peru. Not a big fan of seafood mix. But I enjoyed the overall experience. Most people ordered a whole fish, have to try to be here next time. Very recommended."

"Everything I tasted was overcooked the rice was so sticky and gummy it was nasty the stuffed mushrooms were burnt the crab rangoon was not hardly stuffed at all with anything. I stood at my table for a long time trying to get ahold of my waitress with my bill in my hand to pay so I can get out of there it was the worst experience I've ever had at any Chinese restaurant I've been to and I have been to a lot. The decorations of the restaurant it reminds me of being in a school cafeteria no decorations except for when you first walk in the door it was just a major Plain Jane cafeteria look. I definitely would not recommend that restaurant for anybody even people I don't like."
