"We were guests of a high-time company and housed here. we have travelled with public transport. the bus stop is walking in approx. 7 min. the look out of our rooms was just wonderful. a playback for children leaves no wish open. the breakfast room has a great panoramic window with super view. the breakfast buffet was plentiful with fresh fruit, delicious cheese, sausage and brot among others in the environment you can make wonderful walks in nature. we were thrilled, like to come back and would like to recommend the guesthouse."

"We've been coming to the bahnhofbuffet of spiez for decades. Last summer, it didn't work because the restaurant was rebuilt. This year, we could go back to trial. But what a different sight, the new facility! Looks very cared. We were there for dinner around 6:00 on a hot July night in 2016. On the terrace, some people were drinking. But at the restaurant, we were the only visitors. And that while we knew this restaurant as a cozy and a lot of people's popular address. What's going on here? The quality of food is nothing to notice. Like old times, it's just good!"

"There are car parks at the entrance to the valley and its seemed to be the done thing to walk up the valley by the side to the small river and then eat at the this restaurant and walk back. There are also numerous more strenuous walks in the area . We parked about two thirds along and walked to the Pochtenfall waterfall which is about a ten minute steep walk from the restaurant . While its a nice view it is not as spectacular as other waterfalls in the area . The path goes on upwards and over the waterfall but we stopped after seeing the falls . We then had lunch at the restaurant which is in a clearing and has rows and rows of trestle tables and is clearly very popular . The food is good German home cooking which consists of large platefuls of both the mains and the desserts . I had sausages and potato salad and my husband had the salad which was piled high on the plate and a bottle of very tasty home-made .dressing was put on the table . Others were having just coffee and cake We were the only British . The men of the family who run it seem to have the job of going round and chatting to the customers and checking they are enjoying the food and having a good time . It would have helped if we had a bit more than very basic German at this point but it didn't stop them from coming and talking to us anyway All told a nice friendly place in a nice location"
