"We were there in Advent 2015 with a small child. The service was fast and friendly (a tattooed waitress). She spoke English really nice. We had a chicken and a wiener schnitzel that was really nice, almost buttery."

"Meine Familie (4 Erwachsene und ein Kleinkind) haben hier zu Mittag gegessen. Besonders schön fallen zuerst die mit Stoffservietten gediegen gedeckten Tische auf. Das Service ist prompt und aufmerksam. Sofort wurde hinterfragt, ob der Kindersessel passt. Die Getränke und Speisen wurden unverzüglich aufgenommen. Die Getränke standen kurzfristig am Tisch. Wir hatten Frittatensuppe, Kartoffelsuppe, gebackenes Putenschnitzel, gebackener Karpfen, Filetsteak mit Spiegelei und Pommes frites sowie ungarisches Gulyas - alles war ausgezeichnet. Geschmackvoll, nicht fett und akzeptable Portionen. Das gebackene Putenschnitzel war mit der Kartoffelsuppe und Apfeltorte als Menu angeboten. Wir ersuchten die Apfeltorte gegen eine Sachertorte auszutauschen, was nicht nur ohne Aufpreis erfolgte, sondern - da das Kleinkind schon müde war - in einem Tortenkarton verpackt mitgegeben wurde. Einzig kleiner Kritikpunkt war, dass das Filetsteak (vom Biobauern) nicht wie bestellt leicht blutig, sondern eher rosé serviert wurde. Aber vielleicht war dies dem Umstand geschuldet, dass mein Sohn sich mit seiner Tochter (dem Kleinkind) etwas länger befasst hat und das Steak dadurch zu lange nachgegart hat.....Der Kellner ist oft vorbeigekommen und hat sich erkundigt, ob alles ok ist. Er war besonders aufmerksam. Ebenso die Chefin, die uns noch mit Rat und Tat zu Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in Mariazell zur Seite gestanden ist."

"We called and made a reservation same day- which was a good thing we did because we arrived and it was packed. Staff was friendly. Beer, wine, food (pumpkin cream soup, onion roast beef, cordon bleu), and dessert were all very good. Not cheap but...worth the money."

"We were in Mariazell for only one day, we decided to lunch in Oberfeichtner Restaurant, It is place with locals, not so many tourists, but close to center: no smoking so nice: Stuff was friendly and food was... really good and for lunch we paid 7,90E pretty nice as for the city center very friendly small restaurant:"
