"This is the most over-priced sea food shop in Sydney. I paid $13.00 for medium sea food fried rice only to find it had no sea food but full of large onions. They also charged $4.00 for a water bottle. It wasn't even mt franklin or anything, just some unknown middle eastern brand water bottle which probably cost them 25c a bottle. If you are going to over charge customers, at least give them good quality food."

"Sometimes the best things in life are the simple things that are done right. take them for example good old-fashioned burgers. in these days we are 're with burgers who are ridiculous in size, insane, soßen, all around instagram and the infatuation today 's generation has with technology and makes dinge bigger and crazy all for likes, followers, and the general demand for attention and self-security that comes with an online personality. Sometimes they don't want a burger that looks like something created in a science lab, or a burger with so many components that the menu description looks more like a university work than a menu. here comes scott 's takeaway, a hidden little take-away shop in the back of glenfield in his own. scott 's takeaway is one of the last bastions of their 'old school' style milkable. Sure, it doesn't make any milkshakes, but it's a big small takeaway shop that has a few burger options, fish n chips, chico rolls, ice creams, and that's in the ground it. it has one of these claw machines at the front, and besides a beverage refrigerator, nothing else. it's easy. they are not frills. it's cheap, and it's bloody good to just have it on the way from me! I was a couple of times after I picked up some burgers and chips with the family of the missus for a quick, easy lunch. sung by last week for this exact purpose before work, and they simply cannot love the simpleness of the place. I guess the owner is called scott because it's the same type behind the counter when you mannage the grill and frit. I ordered the rindburger, the missus went with the hühnerburger (both with chips) and we also picked up some fish cocktails and potato scales for the muse of the missus. note that these are not fresh fish cocktails and fish fillets from the fish markets this day! it is the old school choice that sits in the window until it is cooked, but who cares!? it is old school, and if it is still properly cooked, they taste bloody delicious! We picked up all that for under $25, which is phenomenically worth. as the only people in business on Monday, the meals were cooked right before us, and after 10 minutes we are happy to wait near $10 on the claw machine knowing full well we would try to lose our money, the small bouncy ball(s) embodies on them with rugby league clubs - our meals were handed over to us, hot and greasy. the only thing that would have done better is if it were wrapped in old school butcher/Zeitung. back to home we have in what was just a great humble lunch. my cattleburger could not have been easier. a thin, but well seasoned bark patty on a sesame seed beer, with caramelized beetle, a crushed iceberg salad and barbeque sauce. as there are no frills than burgers. aside from the barkpest, which was probably a tade overcrowded, it hit the spot sweeter than david warner smash a 6. the thick cut frying were nicely cooked and were consistently crispy, soft and damp in the middle. No one of these shoe chains is crying nonsense that everyone is serving and his dog now. as much as I love from time to time a good bar luca or chic burger, I don't think one of them could satisfy me like this. perfect size, perfect ingredients. the only thing missing was an ice cold beer. the Missus’ loved her chickenburger who was a pre-curved/broken chicken fillet with salat and mayo, and her mother loved her scallops and fish cocktails, although they were not excessively hungry, and ended her licking with a bit of finger to go with him. remember how their parents always remembered them about the good old days of milkable. I grew up happy enough to have a milkable in my suburbs, but I don't remember eating them. Unfortunately, there are not too many left, especially in the suburbs, and they were replaced by mcdonalds, kfc, hungry jacks and any other infamous exported American almost food chain that has the charisma of the old roadkill. scotts could be one of the last remaining. it's easy, it's not frills, and I love it. Now that I'm not too far away, I can see that I'm going to scotts for a naughty bark burger, and that half of my paycheck by his damn claw machine regularly put. I know in any case I would rather pay for a burger from a local small entrepreneur than an American franchise every day of the week in y end, and twice on Sunday!"

"We only got some vegetarian dumplings and spring rolls but they were delicious! We bought a dozen steamed dumplings and a dozen fried dumplings, I think I preferred the steamed version. The spring rolls are the best I've ever had! Amazing!"

"Rocked up wednesday 5.45pm for diner.Few empty seats inside, we asked to sit inside but they said cant do it's reserved and they're booked. But the girl at the front did not even have a booking list nor did she consult us or anyone who came whether they have booked or not so obv they're lying. We were seated outside and throughout the night saw other people who asked for a table being allowed to choose whether they want to sit inside or not,mainly Caucasian inside, asian outside. Racism much guys? Why the need to lie"
