"My husband wanted ice cream (which he said was lovely), but I fancied something different so I ordered Churros with chocolate dipping sauce, and what a treat! The Churros were freshly cooked, piping hot and well dusted with sugar, and the chocolate sauce was just like eating melted good quality chocolate a perfect way to mark the end of a great week in Woolacombe."

"Decent fish and chips. better than the rick stone in padstow that is safe. they deceive them by having the restaurant down so they can not say that there is a wait-snake up to their inner, but in view of the shady history of people from wollacombe such underhanded tactics are to be expected. eating is good for the price that wait is not so bad when you say how busy it is today (if you don't hear that a guy complains that other people get their commands before him. 10/10 would delete again for chips"

"Reduced opening times this early year, but great to see that the chip shop is still open, despite the challenges with increased trips, product availability and personalization that affect most companies in the region. "After reading the reviews (which were not great tbh) we decided to go for them simply. wonderful food (the carvery) and good service. very generous with portions much better than a standard toby carvery pub. atmosphere good. most service teams are new to the job and it is obvious as with most places that restaurants do the best to rebuild after the kovid. I applaud this pub/restaurant and would recommend it. friendly, good hearty food and certainly go to the right direction. great work."
