"Was looking for a meet up spot with family for catch up after Xmas for x6 people and came here but it was sadly very unwelcoming, the girl serving us was clearly not in a good mood and didn’t want to be there, we asked if we could have food to a man there and said we stop food in 5mins (14:30pm) so rushed to order and the girl refused us anyway, place was very freezing (wish they put a fire on), the floor was very sticky as we walked over it and hot drinks were poor. Shame wanted to try something different."

"Been here many times and until recently it’s been fantastic but last two times have not been good. Saturday. I can only suggest that they are short staffed and that more staff training is needed. Half an hour for coffees to arrive, then told there had been a mix up with orders. Orders being re-confirmed with customers to sort out the confusion. Our food followed sometime later one poached egg n bacon on toast arrived followed by a scrambled egg and salmon another 5 mins later. Scrambled eggs with no seasoning was bland and the GF toast was under toasted and became a soggy paste almost instantly. The staff are friendly, it’s a nice venue, but at the moment there seems to be issues that need addressing, not sure if we will return, but I would like to see this business return to being as good as it has been in the past."

"Ordered online, food turned up over 2 hours later than when it was meant to arrive, ordered two large pizzas and burgers, the pizzas were powdery on top? Really didn’t taste right, pretty vile tbf. Had one slice, binned the rest and it isn’t sitting well. However had the Amy’s special burger and that was fine. Poor service and mostly bad food, no refund offered just a bottle of Pepsi. "We've been there a couple of times, once for lunch and once in the evening. Both times the food was really good and very reasonably priced and the service was prompt efficient and friendly. It has a massive car park and being on the roundabout,...easy to find. Combine it with the 10 minute walk into the centre of Shaftesbury to enjoy the beautiful views, Gold Hill and quaintness of this lovely town."
