"Nous nous sommes arrêtés pour boire un verre dans ce petit café atypique. Décoration vintage avec tables et chaises en formica ou chaises d'école. Un vrai dépaysement ! Puis l'heure du repas ayant sonnée à l'église du suquet, nous avons été servis. 2 jeunes sympa et dynamique, souriants. Super. Carpaccio et frites maison, entrecôte, tres bon.L'Apero + repas à 2, 50€. IL n'y a rien à dire. Digestif offert. Un bon moment loin des attrappe-touriste d'un peu plus bas."

"We have been in this restaurant several times in recent years, with family or friends, and have never been disappointed. The staff is welcoming, even if sometimes we went there late. A wide choice of dishes is offered, it's delicious, fresh and rich, we have enjoyed each time. The atmosphere is pretty good child and fits very well with this type of establishment."

"We had a meal here one evening, as it was close to the hotel where we were staying. There were two other parties already in the front of the restaurant. We wanted to sit in the back (about 20 tables there, I guess), as it was away from the hot pizza oven. Oh no, the waitress shooed us away, back to the front (and the noisy road).It was clear that she was in a bad mood. We all have our off days. But then another couple arrived, also wanting to sit in the back, but she told them they'd have to sit out on the pavement. They were regulars and probably used to being ordered around, so they complied.I was going to have a pizza, but saw that another table's pizzas were both badly burnt at the edges, so changed my mind. Hubby's steak was OK and I had some shellfish, also OK, but the attitude put us off and we decided not to have dessert. We saw her husband, the chef, scurrying around, and I felt sorry for the poor man.When my husband complained about the coffee cup being half full, she did a great thing about French only ever drinking expresso, and that our cups (with milk in) were huge by comparison. He was livid, so I paid and we left in a hurry. 63 euros for a poor experience.The location isn't great, as it's so close to a road, and it only looks average from the road, but we were prepared to give it a go, as I like to support local, unpretentious restaurants. But when the location isn't great, and the decor looks a bit old, you need to provide good food and GREAT service. This place failed on both scores. I only hope the owners read this review - please remember that WE are the customers, not waiters!"
