Our last visit we were served an off the menu duck starter followed by an old family recipe of slow cooked chicken (5/6 hours) which was wrapped in locally gathered herbs, parchment then terracotta and ceremonially “opened” using a hammer at the table. (You need to pre order this dish). The wine contained many inexpensive local wines which Leila recommended before the more expensive ones this the mark of a confidence that was not misplaced as they were delicious and perfected matched the food. It is slightly off the beaten track, there is ample parking unlike a lot of restaurants in the Como area but it is well worth the visit."
