"Stopped in for dinner this evening. A large table was just leaving so it was sort of hectic there. Ordered the Fishermans platter. Piece of battered fish was excellent. Also came with scallops and shrimp, which were both deep fried. Portion was huge. Friendly staff...and quick service."

"We were driving to Bonavista and stopped at the Bonavista Social Club only to find it only open Wed. to Sun. off-season. We ventured on and spotted Susie's. What fun we had in this tiny restaurant at the side of the road. Food was good-great clam chowder full of clams, good portion of pan fried cod and delicious fish cakes. The ladies serving were chatty with great senses of humour-it was like eating at an aunts home."
If you crave for desserts, Susie's Cafe with its fine desserts can surely make an end of it, It shows that the traditional Canadian dishes are well received by the customers of the restaurant.
