"We stayed one night here. It’s a short drive outside of Bonavista so we knew the rates would be a bit lower. Reception was super friendlyas I had grown accustomed to in the east coast. The hotel itself is a bit dated but didn’t deter from its charm. Our room was clean and had a modern bathroom (though a bit tight! It was quiet, clean and comfortable. There is a restaurant on the premise but we didn’t get a chance to eat there (had to eat at Mary Brown’s since we were in its birth place! The hotel is quiet, clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. I’d stay here again!"

"Head to the Baie Vista if you're interested in rude service, long wait times, and terrible food. Waited over an hour for a burger and fries. The burger was chewy and tasted like cheap frozen Costco burgers. My bun was freezer burnt. The waitress had no etiquette and only stopped by when we had finished our meal to bark "want anything else". Terrible experience!"

"Stopped in for dinner this evening. A large table was just leaving so it was sort of hectic there. Ordered the Fishermans platter. Piece of battered fish was excellent. Also came with scallops and shrimp, which were both deep fried. Portion was huge. Friendly staff...and quick service."
