"Pulp did not live up to the expectations set by the other reviews here. The price/performance was terrible; this place would get crucified in Melbourne. The steak and chips was ridiculously overpriced - 80% of the plate was cover in fries that may or may not have been McCains fries (embarrassing if restaurant-made). The tagliatelle was amazing in the sense that every ingredient was cooked to perfection but somehow the overall result had zero flavour. Still, dessert was excellent as were the staff who looked after us (hence the 3/5). Ultimately, I won't go back."

"Decent and basic selection of beers with a good price for members. The restaurant has vegan options, vegan schnitzel parmigiana is quite good. No vegan options at the bar, if you don't eat meat and can't eat dairy your only option is chips, which were quite oily. Staff was very friendly and helpful, service was fast, I will come back for the beers."

"My wife and I had Sunday lunch today. I ordered the Ploughmans Lunch and my wife ordered a pastie with salad.Unfortunately my wife could eat the salad due to its extra garnishing of human hair.We did bring it to the attention of the staff who apologised but did not offer any reparation. The kitchen staff did not wear hair nets. Questionable food safety standards."
