"First visit, food was very good, nice atmosphere Unlicensed, but you can take your own alcohol if you wish Only strange thing was the use of plastic disposable dishes for the accompanying dips may have been good reason, and didn't deter from an enjoyable meal"
In nice weather you can even have something in the outdoor area.

"I like to spend special occasions at the table. I especially enjoy the British tradition of afternoon tea, with its combination of savouries and sweets. With a birthday to celebrate, we decided to give Aria restaurant at a go. It’s housed in one of the most conspicuous buildings on busy Broad Street, the Hyatt Regency Birmingham.
Atmosphere
The hotel is a large modern building with a glamorous interior. Enormous leafy trees and plants invade the tea room, which floods with the light coming in through the very high glass ceiling.
The ambience is very quiet and relaxing with background music and the chilling sound of a water feature. There is generous space between tables, which allows you to have a little bit of extra privacy to enjoy yourself and almost forget about the other diners.
Food
An afternoon tea tray laden of delicate sweets and savouries was served with our teas. Having previously read other reviews, I was expecting certain options that didn’t turn up. I realised that the hotel varies its afternoon tea menu from time to time.
The waiter asked for any special requirements and in my case I am not a fan of mayonnaise, so they were happy to make a few alternative sandwich options for me.
There was a nice selection of ‘sans crust’ finger sandwiches making up two-bite portions: cheese and cucumber, salmon and cheese, beef and gherkin, ham and mustard, egg and cress and (for me) tuna and tomato.
Two other alternative fillings I had were goat’s cheese and caramelized red onion, and carrot and hummus.
The sweets on the tray were homemade plain scones, apple cake, black forest cake and a modern twist of the classic strawberry cheesecake. Clotted cream, raspberry and strawberry jam was available to top up the scones.
Drink
We didn’t spend long looking at the tea and coffee menu, as we already knew what we wanted. However, the options to choose from include a variety of freshly-brewed, loose leaf teas and ground coffee.
I went for my usual citrusy Earl Grey tea meanwhile my partner opted for a classic Breakfast with milk. No complaints at all.
Pricing
Traditional afternoon tea is priced at per person, per person if you decide to go for the Champagne Afternoon Tea or for the Rose Champagne Afternoon Tea.
Overall
The afternoon was perfect: a beautiful place, friendly and attentive staff, great service, superb food and a relaxing atmosphere. I would consider it the perfect way to celebrate a special occasion.<br"

"Attended on monday evening the food had been leftover from the weekend and was dry. It had been clearly reheated and the fruit/vegetables selection and the cream on it had gone all sour meaning it was left out for a long time/old. There was a mouse running underneath the tables with food on (buffet). All of my family found the food disgusting and did not eat anything, we left it all there. I politely asked for a refund but the gentleman refused, which is okay. He refused to provide a receipt, who does that? Then when I quieried him over it and just dry to discuss my complaint, he walked and refused to speak with me. I did not understand what I had done wrong. The restaurant had provided all food with poor hygeiene, even the kids were refusing to eat because it tasted so bad. Man at front desk, old with white beard and bald was extremley rude and was not having a simple conversation with me. As soon as I brought up the issues he was very reluctant to discuss it."
At Rawal Village in Birmingham, you get a diverse brunch for breakfast and you can at will feast, Likewise, the visitors of the restaurant prefer the comprehensive selection of various coffee and tea specialities that the establishment provides. The dishes are prepared authentically Asian, Furthermore, the delicious treats of this restaurant sparkle not only in the eyes of our young guests.

"I went to this restaurant yesterday night, we booked a table for two and was expecting a lot for the money, considering Thai Edge was faultless; very posh.So we arrived at around 6.40, we knew we were early so we just sat in the lounge part until we were called to our table. I asked for some water and my friend had a Stella; the waitress gave me tap water which I wasn't very happy with. It came to 7:10 PM when we were called to a table for FOUR, so it was late and wrong! We had made a reservation for a table for two, this was really annoying as we found it hard to talk to each other as the table was so big and it was very loud in there as it was.The waitress gave us literally 2...read more"

"I had booked a table with my boyfriend in this restaurant. The first impression is great, you enter through the bar part that recalls the bars to the French, beautifully decorated, hosted by the French. They have a great selection of drinks and a wonderful cocktail menu. The menu is very tempting, we opted for flat to share with a delicious selection of Italian deli input and a side of beef as a main course, served with home fries, vegetables and a selection of three sauces."
