"Excellent family meal taken on the terrace where views of the mountains and Lake Grand’Maison is very pleasant. Rose’s welcome is most kind, friendly and attentive. We have chosen dishes from the menu with to start a caesar salad with all freshness and noted just about, followed by an excellent Saint-Pierre net with small summer vegetables all served well hot and cooked to perfection. In parallel, other guests enjoyed a thigh of chicken with spitting skin, accompanied by peas and other vegetables elegantly presented. Coté serves a blueberry homemade pie accompanied by a sorbet ball of the same fruit took away our choice while the other guests enjoyed either a chocolate dessert or a cupamisu at the coffee, all being a house bill. In this regard I will try, next time, the tiramisu because as long as it had to be good for my granddaughter to taste that of his grandmother. All this was watered the mountain water and an excellent old vines Chignin and then an expresso and its square of Chocolate. The price will ask me: very affordable — I advise you to go. And again bravo and thank you to Rose and his chef for their excellence and kindness."

"Have been here a few times over the years but have seen a decline in standards. Probably fine if you only want the 'standard' mountain fare of tartiflet, fondue etc. but had a distinctly below par steak on last visit. It seems to have lost its atmosphere as well, we used to think it was such a friendly place, but seems more functional now."

"Came here with a large group and found that all were catered for. Half the group were still looking for regional dishes, my magret de canard was great, a couple shared a good fondue, and then half the group went for excellent pizza. House red and white very drinkable, desserts very good (especially Cafe Gourmand) - friendly service and all for €31 per head - result!"
