"Looked promising but the menu system was lengthy albeit innovative. The surcharges indicate the management are not up to pricing correctly i.e. card charges and staff working on sundays should be incorporated into costs thus giving the diner a fuss free experience. The meals/menu could be found at any local pub for better value and the beer menu was lacking for a Bavarian theme with some of the menu beers not even available. Staff were pleasant enough but we didn 't pay premium price to have our drinks server picking is nose and serving without cleaning his hands. "Great selection of pastries! The beef pie is quite nice (if a little on the sweet side for a meat pie). Iced coffee is good too. Oddly they asked if I wanted salad I said no but they still gave me a lettuce leaf with my pie "

"What happened? Used to be a favourite spot of ours and haven't been for a while. Decided to get Sunday brunch with our daughter last Sunday. Got a seat no problem. Helped ourselves to menus, not an issue. Then we observed 3 tables come in after us and be provided with water or have a drinks order taken and in one case order food. We still hadn't been spoken to or attended by any of the wait staff at all and we had been sat for nearly 10 minutes. Being patient we continued to wait when a lady dining alone walked in and as she sat down was asked if she had a drink order to place by wait staff! That was it. Given we were sat right next door to her and clearly could be seen we decided to take our hard earned $ elsewhere. Real shame, but with local competition hitting up you can't afford to loose loyal customers."

"Very friendly, helpful staff. Had the Lammpizze that was all I wanted. Also have a wide selection of beers, sour beers, I had ginger apple wine that was very beautiful. Good place to catch up with friends."

"Very busy evening, arrived for 6.30 booking no worries, table ready. We are celebrating 11th Anniversary we both enjoyed our meals, steak with prawns topper and a pork meal. Despite being so busy, meals arrived in good time. Wine and beer from the bar icy cold! Great Band playing, (what is their name? , plenty of favourites from the 70s! A pretty good night, Thank you."
