What Peter G likes about Golden Fish & Chips:
We always have haddock and chips from here, and then lately we have been bringing it home. The last two times the fish doesn't taste very good, and I suspect that it just doesn't travel well. I recommend that you eat in the restaurant because we have years of enjoying their fish in the restaurant. The french fries are cut in house and taste delicious much better than the frozen french fries you always get everywhere... read more.

In pleasant weather you can even eat in the outdoor area, And into the accessible rooms also come visitors with wheelchairs or physical disabilities.

What can I say? Worst fish I have ever eaten. Had to take a paper towel to the fish to soak up all the grease. Inside of the box was drenched in grease. It took 2 paper towels to at least get rid of some of the grease. Very disappointed. Wont be re-ordering from here ever again. read more.

"Dined in earlier today, my husband and I ordered the confit wings, best burger in town and Friday’s special fish chips.The burger and wings were okay.Unfortunately the fish and chips were waaaaay too greasy. I had to soak up the extra grease from the fish and got two serviettes fully soaked with grease.However the service was good. Overall I’d say out experience were a little bit of a let down."
