"We always like to come to Christianshof for more than 10 years. The food has always been super fresh, Rhenish and thanks to changing weekly card never boring. You can read the annual programme on the website. Especially the soups and the various roasts are a pleasure, just like the self-made desserts. The scavengers, salads and the Rhinehesian specialties such as, for example, gelatine (stirring with various toppings should also be tasted: Prices are consistently reasonable. In summer you can sit beautifully outside and enjoy a glass of wine, a lap or something else in the green courtyard. In addition to the restaurant there are also guest rooms, a winery (so you can just take what has tasted a beautiful garden, which you can rent including staff and food for grilling, vineyard tours and recently also a swingolf complex! A visit is definitely worth it, probably also several."

"A really disappointing evening. The pre-ordering of a desired table was not observed. It was so full and loud that my own word could hardly understand, let alone that understandable communication with operators (which seemed relatively subcooled and overwhelmed by the way) was possible. This also led to my steak being delivered almost raw, although I had ordered it moderately hard. When I read the reviews, I can be glad that after the complaint I have received the same steak a little further, but strangely the roast potatoes have tasted only for fat. Operating times relatively long. The staff and, above all, the boss rather wortkarg unfriendly. Missing scorched corners were simply fucked on the table without words after a few minutes. Here the guest is seemingly real the king *Ironie* prices for such food too high for the drinks. Almost none of the steaks ordered were good at our table. Either too raw or for the most part already cold. Other normal foods were pleasant. If it can be avoided, this was our last visit, which is a pity because it was really great in the past."

Die auf der Speisekarte angeboten Gerichte bieten etwas für jeden Geschmack wobei uns besonders die Salate und der Handkäs angesprochen haben. Die Bedienung bzw. das Inhaber Ehepaar sind sehr freundlich sodaß wir uns dort immer sehr gut aufgehoben fühlen.An Sommerabenden genießt man den Aufenthalt am besten im Innenhof und ansonsten im ausgebauten Gewölbeinneren.Wir kommen gerne wieder."

Für Ihn war das zweifellos die italienische Küche mit Ihrer Leichtigkeit , den unterschiedlichsten Geschmacksnuancen und vielen Möglichkeiten von Pizza / Pasta bis zu Fisch , Meeresfrüchten und natürlich auch Fleisch .Heute gebe ich Ihm recht , aber leider wird die echte italienische Küche von vielen angelernten Köchen aus Marokko , Tunesien , Türkei usw. als mediterranes Essen interpretiert und entsprechend angeboten . Oft machen SIE das prinzipiell zufriedenstellend , nur leider fehlt dabei letztendlich die „italienische Leidenschaft“ in Ausführung und Geschmack .Dieses Italien haben wir im IL VECCHIO MULINO in Nieder-Olm gefunden . Der Chef -Luigi- lebt für sein Ristorante kocht selbst und wenn er etwas Zeit hat kümmert er sich auch persönlich liebevoll um seine Gäste .Die „ALTE MÜHLE“ steht unter Denkmalschutz , ist aber im originalen Stil Innen und Außen restauriert . An den Wänden hängen Bilder von Don Camillo und Peppone , Sophia Loren und Frank Sinatra und zum wohlfühlen spielt leise italienische Musik . Da kommen Erinnerungen auf !Die Tische sind mit viel Liebe eingedeckt . Jeder Tisch hat Olivenöl , Balsamico , Pfeffer- und Salzmühlen .Eine Selbstverständlichkeit sind frisches , hausgebackenes Brot und selbst eingelegte Oliven .Zur Vorspeise im Winter eine Kartoffelsuppe mit frischen Trüffeln und im Sommer Ruccola Salat mit Trüffel und Trüffelöl - einfach wunderbar !Als Hauptgericht typisch italienische Pizza und Pasta zum genießen für den kleineren Geldbeutel oder auf Wunsch auch viel aufwendiger mit frischem Fisch , Meeresfrüchten oder Fleisch - auf den Punkt zubereitet - das schmeckt !Dazu passt ein kühles Glas Rose' , Vino Rosso oder ein Frascati , zwar aus der großen Flasche - aber ausgesucht .Natürlich hat Luigi auch Flaschenweine - aus den besten Lagen Italiens und für jeden Geschmack .Wer Lust auf etwas Süßes hat ordert einen hausgemachten Nachtisch oder lässt sich einen Espresso schmecken , vielleicht auch mit einem der besonderen „Grappinchen“ .Chef Luigi ist dazu sehr großzügig ! Oft serviert er für seine Gäste ein Glas Prosecco als Aperitif , danach einen Digestivo oder kommt nach dem Essen manchmal zu einer kleinen Vorstellung seiner ausgewählten Weine an den Tisch – selbstverständlich ALLES auf das Haus .Wenn man natürlich gleich bei der Bestellung Prosecco und Grappa für „Lau“ fordert kann Luigi verständlicherweise auch mal ärgerlich werden .Wir freuen uns auf jedes Essen bei Luigi – wie auf ein kleines Fest und genießen „Das kulinarische Sizilien“ im IL VECCHIO MULINO .Nicht zu vergessen der wunderbar angelegte Garten der in der warmen Jahreszeit zum Essen ,Trinken und Entspannen in südländischer Atmosphäre einlädt ."

"Also Angefangen mit denn Parkplätzen...kaum sind Paar Gäste da, gibt es keine Möglichkeit mehr Vorort zu Parken.Zum Restaurant : Das Lokal sieht gut aus, der Service macht seine Arbeit.Zum Essen : Also es gab Leber diese war Ok der Feldsalat hatte eine Art Dressing das einfach nach nix Geschmeckt hatte!Der Hauptgang ; war Schnitzel ...bzw: sollte es eines sein, es war wieder Geschmacksneutral, die Soße eine Art Jägersoße..es hat nach Pilz geschmeckt aber nicht so wie man sich das wünscht.Also mein Fazit: Zum Trinken geeinigt, aber zum essen eher nicht, ich war mit 2 weiteren Leute da, und das war mein zweiter Besuch.Deshalb lasst es lieber bleiben."
