"I am picky about Mexican restaurants. Mazatlan was recommended by our hotel and within walking distance. So we decided to try it and we were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is very charming with a great deal of detail in the decor. It was lovely and very clean. We had excellent service and our food was piping hot. We both had fajitas, with rice and beans which was all good. A little onion heavy and needed a few more poppers though, but all the meat was tender and seasoned just right. We had the La Original Margaritas which were a little pricey BUT very good. They were made perfectly, on the rocks w salt and just the right amount of tequila. The chips were crisp with outstanding flavor. We had fast and excellent service. If you are in Everett and a fan of Mexican give this place a try. It does seem to be within walking distance of most hotels."

"We ate at Papa 's last Friday night. They were extremely busy. Somehow our order got missed. They wanted to make it right, but we couldn 't wait any longer. I spoke to Tony, owner?/manager? And he insisted we let him make it right. He said we, the customer are more important than the money . He not only refunded all of our money, but gave us a gift certificate to their restaurant. He went over and above what I evrr expected."

"I’m honestly sad on how people gave this place less than 5 stars. The food and service has never failed me every time I ate here. You can really tell that the food they prepare has love into cooking it and you can taste a diverse amount of flavors which I love and it is not overwhelming as well."
