The service at this restaurant is excellent. I believe it is run by a family, which is reflected in the consistent quality of the food. The restaurant can accommodate large groups in the back, making it ideal for family celebrations. I do wish the dining experience was a little smoother, but the food tastes delicious. What User doesn't like about Tampico Mexican:
I am accustomed to Tex-Mex cuisine, and this restaurant falls short of that standard. I ordered the queso profundo, expecting melted cheese with chorizo and pico de gallo. However, what arrived was a plate of congealed cheese with greasy and flavorless chorizo on top.
