"Ordered a gluten free pizza on the phone and was told it would be 10-15 mins. Went to collect and was told they hadn’t made it because you can only order gluten free on the website. Not in person or the phone. Even though they already took my order on the phone?!? Wasn’t able to order it in store and the staff member told us to go and order it on our phone and they would make it?!? Decided to go elsewhere as I’ve never had this at any other Dominos before. Some customer service!"

"Best pizza in galashiels with a long shot! the personal is super nice and if it is ordered later, when they are indicated by even 5/10 min, they are super apologetic and give them a free drink. the prices are exactly right and £16 for a 14 inch pizza and a large pocket of chips. platz is also immaculate, they keep a really strict cleaning practice clear."

"Absolutely disgusting customer service!!! We placed an order to be delivered and waited almost two hours to find some of our order missing and other parts of it wrong,waited another hour for it to be rectified before demanding a refund where we were told to ‘come get it!’ Wen we explained we couldnt drive we were told ‘walk, the fresh air will do you good!!! Horrible service from horrible arrogant people"

"From the outside the Harrow Inn looks like any other old-fashioned pub in any other old- fashioned street. Inside is the same (though renovations are coming soon) except for the menu. Our first instinct was this can't be right'. The range of beautifully cooked food...and the value for money was literally astounding. Home made Lentil and Bacon soup followed by a steak was less than a tenner, and that was the most expensive dish. Service was friendly and prompt. All the food was freshly prepared and OAPs and Students were offered a two-course deal for a fiver. Under recently new management, this is an eatery which can only grow in stature. Day trippers ... head for the Harrow Inn"

"We enjoyed our one night stay here. Our room was quiet and comfortable but on the small side, as was the shower room. Breakfast was very good and freshly cooked to order. Evening meal was tasty (lamb tagine can be recommended) but food availability slots...were limited and may not suit everyone. Some rooms are having bathrooms revamped, so check availability directly with the pub rather than booking site on line for latest details. Parking available right outside. We would certainly go back to this hotel."

"I'm new to gala and I come from up near Edinburgh and this is one of the best takeaways I've had down in the borders! Very quick and very lovely and fresh food, and I'm a fussy eater also a tasty dessert, the churros were amazing, Highly recommended takeaway"
