"We visited the city with the intention to go to another restaurant (which turned out to be closed this month,) and accidentally in alborada, which proved to be the high point of our day! the restaurant is located at the main boulevard with a beautiful. view of the harbour and the beach. the personal is very friendly, and the cook itself would come to make sure that we are happy at any time. the starter with smoked cod was excellent, the seafood salad was tasty, and the cancer was a joy. the cook even explained which parts we should not miss. as a main dish we had the paella and the fried fish that were amazing! at the end we could not resist trying the homemade desserts and were not disappointed the chef told us that the restaurant was founded by their great grandfather, and we had a nice talk with her about the city and the region. all in all, a very beautiful evening and we definately would come again!"

"We decided to eat here because it was the closest to our hotel. We are so glad we did. There was plenty to choose from but we decided on the cod (which is great in this part of the country) and the Veal. Both were delicious and the portions were extremely generous. The service was impeccable and the waiters were so patient as we only speak English. If I am ever in Caminha again I would definitely go back to Foz Do Minho."
