"One of our favorite places: watch the ocean crash while eating drinking and having great service. The have their own beer i love the stout. Chowder is excellent. Service is always right on. They do a great warm cookie with ice cream and sauce for dessert as well. Love this place!"

"I waited awhile to get a server even though the place wasn’t that busy. When the server finally brought my drink, I asked him if the veggie burger was vegan. Ernie’s reply was, “Hmmmmmm, it depends on how strict of a vegan you are.” When I let him know I was a strict vegan he just turned and walked away without saying another word. I left very disappointed."

"I 'm trying to be charitable here since it was opening weekend across a 3-day weekend and the waitress was obviously being trained, so I won 't mention the service. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs, and was completely disappointed. The meatballs were dry and unseasoned, and the house-made sauce had no real seasoning and tasted like it came from a can. The garlic bread was a piece of bread with a large slice of cheese melted across it that had not been toasted and had no discernible garlic flavor. The spaghetti noodles were cooked OK, and that 's the best I can say about the dish. My wife had the half-chicken meal, which did have a great sauce on the chicken but the skin was tough. The carrots were dripping with oil that tasted slightly burned. The baked potato was huge, with no butter, a small dollop of sour cream and a few sprinkles of chives."

"We had an excellent meal here. This is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever eaten at in Oregon, up with Q and Arden in Portland. I had the steak and my wife had the pork. We also had appetizers and cheesecake for dessert. Everything was great and the drinks were very good too especially the Negroni and they had excellent beer selections. Very highly recommended."
