"Lovely evening enjoyed by our group of 20 something people including a young lady from macaw. staff very friendly . hats off to the chef who handled cooking all the meals on his own owing to being short handed. his assistant was very good too and the meals arrived looking yummy. would certainly go again next time im in whakatane."

"A seperate vegetarian section of the menu makes it super easy to order. most dishes however contain ghee so that they ask for free milk to make this vegan. the personal is super courtesy and happy to help. they could try to warn them that it will taste worse when made milk free, but the dishes I tried were delicious. I had the chana masala and the palak aloo. They are also able to make the naan or roti vegan. excellent service and eating. large vegetarian option for whakatane. would like to dinate again and recommend others."

"18th bday Trinity for 7. Food was excellence unleashed. Our waitress was an older lady sorry hun I forgot your name was also excellence unleashed. Not one fault the whole evening. Huge portion which they pack for you to take home. My mokopuna were treated beautifully by our waitress and they thoroughly enjoyed their meals to. Highly recommend all the food but for myself the seafood teaser i drank the juice from the bowl Thank you DETOURS for a memorable night could not have asked for more. We will be back."
