During our visit to Whakatane in July, we had the pleasure of dining at the Italian restaurant Double Zero. What a delight it was! This charming cafe provides stunning mountain views as you savor delicious seafood. It was such a pleasant experience that I even heard the song of Tui birds.
I had an amazing experience at this restaurant. The ambiance was lovely, the service was outstanding, and all the staff were fantastic. And let's not forget about the delicious food! The employees were always friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be returning.

Visiting from Auckland and tried this for brunch before heading home. Well, great staff. Friendly and attentive and then we tried the food. One of the best big brekkies in awhile. Hot, tasty, and the most perfect poached eggs. Will most definitely return when we visit next. Been a small business owner and chef myself this is a well deserved 5 stars. Cheers guys!
Popped in before heading back to Auckland and man this place is awesome. Super busy Sunday morning but super friendly staff, good coffee, lovely breakfast and probably the best cheese scone I’ve ever had. This will be my Cafe whenever I’m in Whakatane
