"We were here two times now and I plan to visit the next one after a few break: the house seems to have come into the years, but has an atmosphere. the menu is the hammer with a huge selection. the more the oma still put on the table. with a beautiful, vegetarian. the service is friendly and yet ready to beat. and fast. the chefs can be enchanted because they can prepare the most diverse dishes on the spot and can therefore work optimally with the fast operation: these are channel! the prices allow to be generous with the drink! it must be a man!"

"We are on 11.7.16 around 19 clock on recommended at the weingut scherbaum notched. the tables in the outside were well occupied. at the many number of the offered in-house weine should be something suitable for every taste. we had decided for a white-hearted (nr. 24), who did not quite meet our taste. as eating wavings in both sizes with supplements (bratkartoffel, pommes, small salate). the portions are well dimensioned and especially the riesling sauce very well tasted. the small supplemental salad at 2,50 was only dressed with fresh salads, which is not self-evident and very positiw came over.We will come back and try the next time one of the cold meals."

"Mit einem väterlichen Freund ,weitgereist und den leiblichen Genüssen zugetan, habe ich als junger Mann oft über die besten „Küchen“ diskutiert . Für Ihn war das zweifellos die italienische Küche mit Ihrer Leichtigkeit , den unterschiedlichsten Geschmacksnuancen und vielen Möglichkeiten von Pizza / Pasta bis zu Fisch , Meeresfrüchten und natürlich auch Fleisch .Heute gebe ich Ihm recht , aber leider wird die echte italienische Küche von vielen angelernten Köchen aus Marokko , Tunesien , Türkei usw. als mediterranes Essen interpretiert und entsprechend angeboten . Oft machen SIE das prinzipiell zufriedenstellend , nur leider fehlt dabei letztendlich die „italienische Leidenschaft“ in Ausführung und Geschmack .Dieses Italien haben wir im IL VECCHIO MULINO in Nieder-Olm gefunden . Der Chef -Luigi- lebt für sein Ristorante kocht selbst und wenn er etwas Zeit hat kümmert er sich auch persönlich liebevoll um seine Gäste .Die „ALTE MÜHLE“ steht unter Denkmalschutz , ist aber im originalen Stil Innen und Außen restauriert . Oft serviert er für seine Gäste ein Glas Prosecco als Aperitif , danach einen Digestivo oder kommt nach dem Essen manchmal zu einer kleinen Vorstellung seiner ausgewählten Weine an den Tisch – selbstverständlich ALLES auf das Haus .Wenn man natürlich gleich bei der Bestellung Prosecco und Grappa für „Lau“ fordert kann Luigi verständlicherweise auch mal ärgerlich werden .Wir freuen uns auf jedes Essen bei Luigi – wie auf ein kleines Fest und genießen „Das kulinarische Sizilien“ im IL VECCHIO MULINO .Nicht zu vergessen der wunderbar angelegte Garten der in der warmen Jahreszeit zum Essen ,Trinken und Entspannen in südländischer Atmosphäre einlädt ."

"Also Angefangen mit denn Parkplätzen...kaum sind Paar Gäste da, gibt es keine Möglichkeit mehr Vorort zu Parken.Zum Restaurant : Das Lokal sieht gut aus, der Service macht seine Arbeit.Zum Essen : Also es gab Leber diese war Ok der Feldsalat hatte eine Art Dressing das einfach nach nix Geschmeckt hatte!Der Hauptgang ; war Schnitzel ...bzw: sollte es eines sein, es war wieder Geschmacksneutral, die Soße eine Art Jägersoße..es hat nach Pilz geschmeckt aber nicht so wie man sich das wünscht.Also mein Fazit: Zum Trinken geeinigt, aber zum essen eher nicht, ich war mit 2 weiteren Leute da, und das war mein zweiter Besuch.Deshalb lasst es lieber bleiben."
