"La Sauvagine has a lovely authentic, bistro atmosphere. Jazz played in the background. We ordered the caeser salad, vegetable soup, grilled porgy, sautéed cod and potato, and the poached pear with wine sauce for dessert. We also had a bottle of Chardonnay. The service was attentive and the food was delicious."

"Had the shells as an appetizer and they were gritty.sand not completely removed before cooking. Hubby had the grilled sardines that were completely grilled without removing the Innards and fish bones. I had the grilled Squid as the main course and had never seen it before. it looked like a sheet of souride that was flattened with laces and then shaped into a pipe..it had no good texture. I dim in many Portuguese restaurants and that was far away from the brand. Was very disappointed. the pictures of courts on the web did not match what we actually got."

"Quality family owned restaurant. I 've been going to Roma Antiqua for family gatherings since I was a kid. The food was always 'real ' and consistent and there was something for everyone. The place was starting to look a little tired over the last few of years and I hadn 't been back since about 2010. I just went back with my parents and the restaurant has been totally revamped. The food was just as I remembered it but seemed to taste a little better in the new atmosphere. Still great bang for your buck."
