"I arrived on a Monday evening and was pleased to be seated immediately, with no wait time. The soft shell crab appetizer caught my attention and it didn't disappoint. Cooked to perfection, it struck a great balance with its well-seasoned batter. The sushi rolls were also a hit. The Flaming roll and spicy tuna rolls were both delicious, showcasing the chef's skills and creativity. The Hamachi belly was notably fresh and added a wonderful dimension to the meal. The ambiance was casually inviting, contributing to a relaxed dining atmosphere. The noise level remained quiet and calm, allowing for easy conversation. Service played a positive role in the experience, with a friendly, courteous, and attentive staff that ensured I felt well taken care of. The restaurant is conveniently located in a business plaza, offering ample private parking, which is always a plus."

"The pricing is extremely reasonable given Bay Area rents (12 buck lunches). The portions in the lunch bento box were generous. The service was very efficient and friendly enough. The hot tea was great not too weak or strong. There are vegetarian and omnivore options. Seating is accessible, armless. Place is clean, food is fresh. Ambience is fine, but not amazing. I think the flavors are not quite there to merit 5 stars, but it is quite good. Parking is usually on the same block. To be honest I'm a little surprised given the good value and consistency that they aren't more crowded. It may be folks prefer a peppier more hands on cheerleader type of server, or the slightly diner feel isn't fancy enough ambience for some. I like the things they do to be efficient like leaving the pot of tea, the pitcher of water so you can refill yourself. I know some folks prefer the more hands on hovering type of service that feels a bit more pampered, but tbh I have always found that level of service a bit elitist. I appreciate not having a hawk like watchfulness to see when my last sip is gone and rush in to fill. I find it more relaxing to do that for myself. Somehow they've found the right balance of ensuring every need gets met (noticing when they forgot an item, quick to respond when we indicated wanting assistance check) with allowing the space to not be overbearing. Only been here a couple of times, but I'm sure we will continue to enjoy this venue when in the area."

"(Refresh after last visit) It has reduced to 3 stars. We took Miso soup and it wasn't hot. The Inshou role was decent, but the Chicken Karagge Curry was not expecting and seemed like it was prepared a long time ago. Good food with a cosy ambience. We tried the Tonkatsu Ramen and Tacos together with full Hot Sake (the best). The tacos seem a little overpriced, but the rams were good."

"Legitimately one of the best hotpot I've ever had in the US! We were a large group, so we booked a private room and it was so nice! We went fancy and got lobsters and all sorts of other seafood. Everything came beautifully presented. Sauce bar had a good variety of ingredients. Service was friendly and prices were reasonable. I'd definitely come back again!"

"Daiki sushi is one of the few places for AYCE affordable sushi in the bay. My boyfriend and I went on Sunday right as it opened and there were just a few parties ahead of us. We were able to be seated right away after we found parking on the street. There isn't too much parking available as it's right off El Camino but if you drive around the block you might get lucky enough to find some residential parking. Right away, we were greeted with 2 menus and expo markers. We were a little confused so we wrote each of our orders on each of the menus. You are allowed 3 items per round. The food came fairly quickly. The sushi rolls are pretty packed with rice and the fish isn't very fresh as compared to other sushi restaurants. Rolls are also poorly constructed as they break apart as soon as you pick them up. My boyfriend ordered a soda and after he was done, the waitress offered him a refill at half price because their special was BOGO half off. I was a little surprised since they advertised they had a soda fountain and in my experience, most places just offer unlimited refills for soda when it's not in a can? We just opted not to and just got water anyway. We had to ask for another menu since we didn't have anymore and she gave us 3 more. This time, we knew just to put our whole order on one menu and just use the new ones for new rounds. We didn't make it past 3 rounds and I left very full. I would say for the price point, it's a great deal but I'm still craving sushi."

"This restaurant is run by Chinese not Japanese. Inside the restaurant can only sit for 6 tables. Service is fast and friendly. Price is reasonable. Food is fresh.
