"Besides being close to Fiesch Bergbahnen, we have nothing good to talk about this hotel. We were hoping to enjoy a fun ski weekend there, but we had to cancel last night to leave earlier because of multiple reasons. Firstly, we had the staff randomly come into our room without any warning while we were still inside. We find this unacceptable and there’s no locking mechanism. Secondly, the breakfast was really not acceptable second morning, we could tell the bread and cheese and eggs were from the day before. Not fresh at all and the dishware was not properly cleaned. The elevator was broken the entire weekend, and there was no effort to have it fixed asap. The cherry on top was how they dealt with very rowdy and loud guests. For two nights in a row, we suffered from insomnia due to very very unruly guests that kept loudly laughing, chatting and even running around at 3am for many hours. When we complained, they did nothing but offer us to cancel the remaining night, No real compensation or effort to resolve the problem or put us in a room further away. They aren’t responsible for other guests’ behavior but they are responsible for customer care, and we find this entirely unacceptable. The staffs spoke barely any english or german for that matter, and couldn’t communicate properly when filing complaints. Cannot recommend this accommodation at all."

"With all the great reviews and knowing that it earned 15 points on gault&millau, we wanted to give it a try. The place itself isn't special but the food is good and the staff/owners are really nice. The only drawback is that lot of the meals are with cream, cheese or other fatty ingredients; so when you take 3+ meals course this is quite heavy (more balanced would be good)."

"We spent a wonderful evening at the Restaurant Ambassador. Since the ownership has changed, Ambassador finally is the place you want to dine at Bellwald. The owners are super lovely and care a lot about their guests. The food was excellent haute cuisine including interesting creations with a special twist. Prices were absolutely reasonable great value for money. Strongly recommended!"
