"I am so sorry I didn't go to this lovely place earlier.. Last day of our staying in Fiesch weather was bad, we couldn't ski so we went to this place for coffee and cake, my husband and two kids. Cute place, lovely girl who was trying her best to speak English with us, coffee so nice presented, cakes with lovely taste.. So nice experience. Price was ok, slightly higher than other places but worth, so relaxing atmosphere. Would recommend to all Fiesch visitors, from the very first day in this village."

"I went first to hire a bike for my two weeks stay in the Wallis, but came back several times for coffee and cake. The service is extremely friendly and the cakes are delicious. The shop is very well sorted with walking shoes and clothing...in a spacious area. I found a pair of walking shoes on my first visit and wore them every day. The village of Ernen is stunning and on the cafe's patio, you feel like you are in the perfect spot."

"Of the three days we were in the area, we drove to Sportcafe for breakfast both mornings and almost thought about ordering sandwiches to take with us for lunch. The food was absolutely delicious and incredibly fresh! The waitress was lovely and very attentive, she...welcomed us with a smile our second morning at the cafe. We ordered the museli which was perfect topped with fresh fruit, as well as the brunch platter for which was out of this world! Multiple coffees, waters, a side of eggs, our meal was swiss franks, which made this meal not only our favorite breakfast in Swizterland but also our most reasonably priced meal."

"The Rhone valley in Goms and Obergoms is not widely served with really attractive restaurants. Gommerstuba in the tiny village of Ernen, between Brig and Fiesch, is an exception. We are about once or twice a year in the neighborhood and always grab the opportunity to eat there. As we did last Wednesday. The service and quality of food was once again excellent and worth a detour as the Michelin guides would say. Unfortunately the unique couple that covers both the front and the back is planning to retire within the next year and are now looking for a successor. Any young couple that enjoys running its own show and living in one of the most beautiful parts of Switzerland should seriously consider exploring this."
