"A lovely local with friendly faces. Great service, big and delicious kebabs (chicken, lettuce, tomato, onion, taboulli, cheese with hummus and garlic sauce my gaaawd, yum)!! Amazing pide's (super veg with chicken is the bomb) and the hummus dip is to die for. Lots of parking and if you'd prefer you can ask for delivery. Highly recommend!"

"We recently ordered a take away prawn pide plus some fesulye - Turkisj style beans. When we got it home we found that the pide tasted almost entirtely of salt and pepper, prawns were rubbery and had no taste at all, bread was tough. Beans should be cooked in a rich tomato and garlic sauce - but once again the taste was salt and peper and lots of it.We have eaten Turkish in al sorts of places from upmaket to hole in the wall joints in the back streets of Istanbul and nearly alwys enjoyed it - but sad to say the food at the Charnwood Pide is rubbish."
