"I was staying near here on business so visited this restaurant on my own. Small place but accomodating, good service and nice food. Not too expensive (for switzerland) and lots of choices on the menu."

Am Mittag wird in der "Beiz" eine Auswahl kostengünstiger Tagesmenus angeboten, mit grosszügigen Portionen. Am Abend kann man sich einen Tisch im "Sääli" reservieren, wo weisse Tischtücher usw. einen Hauch von Noblesse verbreiten. Empfehlenswert !"

"Hi, I had a pleasure to dinner in this kind risto.I found a kind persons supporting me in the choice the best dish and beer.The beef with green pepper was very good at the right price (for Swiss!!).Also the beer was fine but thay have a limited choice!I payed about 40CHF that is quite good!Thanks and I hope to come back.Bye."

"A few days ago I had a dinner with my husband in the restaurant krone. the wetin just recently changed and therefore the menu was changed. all we have ordered was very delicious! excellent salad: colorful leaf salad and nüssli salad with egg, speck and croûtons. and it were quite large portions! but when we saw our “Pfännli” which we ordered as a main dish... we were speechless! The “Pfännli” were normal average pfannen – so very large portions! and the whole pan was filled with delicious food! my man had a swab pännli with rumpsteak, scrub noodles and sour wort and I had a pännli with 3 medallions, kartoffel burin and leaf spinach on rahmsause. everything was cooked wonderfully! the flesh was soft and juicy, the cartoffels and pasta were adventurously tasty, spinach was also perfect! and in the hot pan everything remained warm for a long time. we had a great pleasure at our dinner! we thank the new wetin woman duperrex for the very friendly reception and this great experience!"

"Sehr freundliche Serviertochter, gemütliches Ambiente und recht gutes Essen. Ich hatte zur Hauptspeise das Rindsfilet „Café de Paris“ für Fr. 46.50. Dazu gab es Pommes frites und Gemüse. Das Fleisch war zart, aber nur geschätzte 180 Gramm. Daher und, weil die Pommes und das Gemüse so lala waren, scheint mir der Preis in einer Landbeiz im Kanton Aargau doch eher zu hoch zu sein."

"Overall impression is average. Food is more or less OK, but nothing special. Prices are OK. Service personnel is friendly and made the evening there a bit better. Wine card is good and not too expensive. We went with family and kids.It was OK, but it is not the place where i would return. In the summer could be better as there is a garden service just at the river. When we went it was winter and the outside facilities were closed. I had the gourmet menu whit venison, good but not gorurmet!"

"We came for dinner with our kids and found a table right at the entrance. Service was not very friendly and made us not feel welcome right from the beginning. Food such as chicken and fish was ok but also not a highlight - altogether not a nice experience with bored service personnel, lacking atmosphere and overpriced food."
