"Very nice restaurant located under the vaults of the chateau de Chailly. It gives him a lot of pills! We ate in the old castle kitchens! With regard to service, staff is welcoming and listening. We ate very well. The dishes were well presented, served copiedly and I find that the price is in relation to the quality and beauty of the place. It's not excessive for a restaurant in a 4-star hotel. I started with an excellent velvety peas and a crunchy vegetable risotto. My spouse took a grilled beef piece, cooking was perfect and meat of quality. He's having fun. Only glass wine is a little more expensive than elsewhere but it offers quality wine, so it seems right to me."

"We had both breakfast and Lunch in the Bistro and in both instances the wait staff was attentive, kind and went out of their way to accommodate us English speaking guests. The food was equally well presented and cooked. The dishes we chose were simple...but excellent. They cooked our steaks nicely and the dessert for lunch was fresh and tasty incorporating regional seasonal fruits. Breakfast was nice with plenty of choice and particularly regional juices and even cremant (sparkling wine). All in all, would recommend and would eat here again. The prices are consistent with the region which is about euros for three course lunch (not including drinks) and breakfast was about euros which is less than other places in the region."
