"Wenn man nicht gerade Golfspieler ist wird man sich kaum hier ins Hinterland des Burgunds verirren. Aber der Weg lohnt sich. Das Schlosshotel ist beeindruckend, die Zimmer sind grosszügig, Salon, Bar und Restaurant verströmen einen gemütlichen Charme der an viktorianische Zeiten erinnert. Wir hatten das "Menu du Château" mit warmer Gänseleber, Ravioli mit Schnecken und Langostinos, Kalbsbries und Filet de Charolais. Dies war nicht ganz so zart, aber das liegt an der Rinderrasse die nicht an die Qualität eines Herford oder Angus Rindes herankommt. Die Auswahl von Käsewagen ist reichhaltig und die Desserts mit Crème Caramel und Zitronen Meringue waren wie alles Andere ausgezeichnet. Die Weinpreise liegen an der oberen Grenze. Wenn man bedenkt, dass Beaune nur knappe 40 km entfernt ist, dann sollten doch eine paar Flaschen unter Euro 50.00 auf der Karte zu finden zu sein. Aber das ist es halt, die Region lässt sich ihren Namen und Prestige bezahlen. Aber alles zusammen ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt an einem wunderschönen Ort. Nicht zu vergessen auch alle Mitarbeiter waren freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir kommen sicher wieder einmal hier mit Freunden zurück."

"We had both breakfast and Lunch in the Bistro and in both instances the wait staff was attentive, kind and went out of their way to accommodate us English speaking guests. The food was equally well presented and cooked. The dishes we chose were simple...but excellent. They cooked our steaks nicely and the dessert for lunch was fresh and tasty incorporating regional seasonal fruits. Breakfast was nice with plenty of choice and particularly regional juices and even cremant (sparkling wine). All in all, would recommend and would eat here again. The prices are consistent with the region which is about euros for three course lunch (not including drinks) and breakfast was about euros which is less than other places in the region."
