"'Best ice cream on Vancouver Island ' is the boast they make on their little sign in front of their little stand. Well, I haven 't had all the ice cream on the Island, but so far they 're #1! Both my wife and I were floored by how delicious their offerings were. Blackberry cheesecake, lemon cream, raspberry white chocolate, hazelnut crunch... Gosh, they were all so good. Almost worth another ferry ride from the mainland just for the treat! Prices might be a bit more than the standard. Don 't worry, it 's worth it. Spend those shekels."

"Great food interesting owner. We really enjoyed our dinner. The Wor Won Ton soup is simply one of the best we have had. The hamburgers are excellent as is the home made pie. The fish and chips looked wonderful and were being ordered by the locals. Do not miss if you are in the area."

"In fact, it was a home once upon a time, and it is tucked behind the landscaping on a small street off the main highway so if you didn't know it was here you would drive right past it. Craftsman charm, good beer, and decent pub food more or less as you'd expect with some dependence on fried food: fish and chips, burger plates and the like. And someone's got some Greek ancestry going on as some of the dishes veer that direction. Quiet on midweek days but apparently quite the place on Friday and Saturday nights--you'll see all the neighbors here!"
