"I've been coming to Angry Garlic for over 5 years, and, a word of caution, they're about to get slammed. Over the past 5 years I have never had a bad experience at Angry Garlic, the food and service have always been exceptional. However, tonight was very disappointing and the owner's presence normally welcome here, is sorely missed as his attention is unfortunately 100% focussed on the smokehouse just a few yards down the road. I sat at the bar where my drinks and food service were subpar. After over 30 minutes of waiting for my food order, which has never has taken longer than 10-12 minutes, I questioned the bartender as to why it was taking longer than normal (I just ate here a week ago). What I received was defiance and an insistence that food tickets normally take more than 30 minutes. No apology, no recognition that something was wrong with their process, but an insistence that I was wrong! She's not very customer focussed and clearly cares more about her own ego than the needs of her customer's. By the way, I still gave her an exceptional tip, even though she didn't come close to earning it. I hope the owner fixes the issue asap, if he does I'll be back, and continue to reccomend it to my family and friends. If not, the experience I had will determine their future, I can't be the only person who's noticed the drop in quality and service since the owners been focused on the smokehouse."

"Huge affordable Margarettas, I got a medium for a very reasonable price and some burritos texos (I think). lava cake for desert was warm, moist and had some amazing chicolate. The dips are overpriced but the rest was fine. Nice view of the river, got to see some osprey and herons fly by while eating dinner. Staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. Everyone had a good time. Would recommend if you're looking for a nice Mexican restaurant in Syracuse."

"Yikes. I know I could call and complain, but I don 't feel like they could make it right with out giving me a refund which i 'm sure they wouldn 't do so I figured I 'd leave a review for others to see. To make it short, the garlic parm wings were legitimately just wings with parmesan cheese on them, no taste of garlic. The deep dish grandma pizza was thick bread with cheese and sauce on it. From the description on the menu, i figured it would have a little more zest or herb taste, but it was extremely bland. It looked great as the pictures show! But I 've had deep dish before, and this was pretty bad and honestly feels like they cheated on the legitimate deep dish taste and texture. Felt like i was biting into a loaf of bread with zero flavor. Really disappointed after seeing the great reviews but... yeah never again."

"First, the staff here is down to earth and attentive. It's rare to find good employees and theirs are consistently fast and friendly, which is no doubt credit toward good management. Bravo! But I am consistently overcharged for some reason at this specific location. Its never enough to complain about, but is likewise difficult to ignore. Subs that are on sale I get charged regular price for. Coupons are accepted, but the price is higher before the discount would be taken off, making using the coupon more expensive than if I hadnt at all. Strange. When I ask for two different kinds of meats or cheese instead of what comes normally, I get charged for double. Its not extra. Just a different variety. Again, the money isnt the issue, just the inconsistency and arbitrariness of it. The price isnt the issue, as I am happy with the place and the product. Just strange and random when I see it on the receipt. I tried informing corporate before leaving a review and just got a canned message. All I was hoping was for the manager to be informed of what was happening so no one else reacted. I would gladly do it in person but this location is ALWAYS busy and I don't want to be THAT customer that holds up other patrons to address what really is a subtle complaint. Again, aside from this anomaly, this is one of the nicest and cleanest Subway locations my wife and I have ever visited."

"Love it here! I love eating with my friends. The shops upstairs make it much more special. I was always greeted with a smile. Love the outdoor seat during the summer time, but the indoor life is just as sweet. I really feel like I get my money. The salads are the perfect size. I never had a problem with adjusting orders or if I wanted to add something. Never send a dish back and I feel I can enjoy my time. I've been entertaining with my friends for 2 hours during lunch and I've never been forced to go. I love the staff and the owner Deb. I only know this place since the beginning of this year, but it's a place where I always take my guests out of town. Go on!"
