"My wife and I are staying in a gite in the same village so the Cafe du Lac is a pleasant stroll downhill to the location which faces the lake adjacent to the village. Others have commented on this and we have noticed there seems to be a fairly constant breeze which comes over the lake towards the restaurant outdoor seating area. This breeze is not felt in the village in any way so for a short period can be a welcome relief from the heat of the summer days. The hosts at Cafe du Lac are very friendly and approachable. The menu consists of simple fare, plus a selection of pizzas cooked to order. We selected a ham and cheese plus a 3 cheese pizza both of which were absolutely superb, the use of local ingredients like fromage de chèvre (goats cheese) really helps to highlight the freshness of the food. We also had drinks and coffees, total bill 29 euro. We will certainly return prior to our departure."
