"The driest pizza I’ve ever had and a rip off for £8.99. Maybe it’s because they keep the dough by the door and the cold air dries it out not sure. I ordered bbq base chicken and sweetcorn. Chicken was flavourless , couldn’t taste a the bbq base. Tasted like dry cheese on toast. Waste of money"

"Been meaning to try the Quill and Taper for ages and finally got there yesterday, it certainly lived up to our expectations. Staff were all friendly, welcoming and helpful. The menu has plenty of options with a good selection of vegan courses which pleased my wife, although not a vegan, tends to have them as she has a dairy intolerance. Once we'd ordered, the food was delivered quickly and was excellent, nicely cooked and well presented. Dietary restrictions: Good selection of Vegan courses which pleased my wife as she is dairy intolerant. Price per person: £30–40 Recommended dishes: Tiramisu"

"Scottish bar maid made us feel very welcome served us immediately (although pub was quiet . Food was served quite quickly and the Lasagne and salad I received was beautifully cooked and the salad was actually a fresh salad. No limp lettuce here or dried up out of a bag, it was lovely . Drinks were good beer served was obviously kept well . We hadn't been here since Covid and will be back it was lovely"

"I got off the bus, and popped in for some fish and chips. Delicious and it even had a seating area which was perfect as I didnt have to hold them in my hand and could enjoy them properly. I'd definitely go back!"
