What User likes about The Shire Oak:
literally last minute and we arrived a little early, but was immediately shown on our table. our order was accepted and arrived quickly. nice eating, homemade Sunday dinner with delicious veg, pork was nice, also had yorkshire pudding. only what was missing was a bite. personal friendly and attentive. would definitely recommend. What User doesn't like about The Shire Oak:
Worst vegetarian meal I have ever had, in-fact after I removed what looked like a deposit off a dog from my plate I found a rock hard pastry case with only fried mushrooms in. I couldn’t actually say what the grey/brownish mush was. Absolutely tasteless with a minimum and I mean minimum amount of vegetables on not just mine but the meat eaters in out party. Food was lovely overall although Garlic Bread was actually like a garlic pizza and a bit hard . Side Salad always lovely and fresh and not dried up on your plat...
