On top of that, the customer service was impeccable! tio Tono attended us the entire time and was super attentive. My significant other had a massive headache, and Tio Tono came out with an aspirin and saved the day. "We met a local woman and explained that we wished to try a restaurant where locals eat. She recommended Muelle 7 and helped us get to the restaurant. As it turns out, the restaurant is not far from the Hotel Zone (80 Peso taxi ride). The neighborhood may not be the prettiest, but inside the courtyard seating area, the restaurant is wonderful. The staff was super friendly, helpful, and we made each other laugh with our marginal Spanish/English. We started with nice margaritas and a ceviche appetizer (along with home made chips and salsas). For main course, we ordered the paddle surf shrimp platter; and the tuna special (Atun Sellado). Both were excellent, with lots of fresh seafood. The food was filling, not expensive and well prepared. We finished the meal with a coffee liqueur cream drink. All in all, a great meal, great service, fun atmosphere, and even a children 's play area for the little ones. If you 're feeling a little adventurous and want to get away from the tourist areas, I 'd highly recommend Muelle 7."
