"Stayed here for just one night as we were attenting the Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford. This place is lovely. It's out of the way enough to be quiet (apart from when aircraft depart from nearby RAF Brize Norton but that really wasn't an issue for me! . Upon arrival had a lovely warm welcome from a guy behind the bar. We were given our keys and show where the rooms were, and where we could park the car. The rooms a little dated, the door is operated by a manual key, no key cards here, and you have to manually lock the door when you leave the room. The room itself was lovely and clean, smelt fresh, had tea/coffee making facilities, TV, en suite etc. The bed was really comfy too. Overall the place is well presented, has great staff, a nice bar, and the food was really good aswell. Breakfast the following morning was a serve at the table affair, various options available, including full english which was customisable. I enjoyed staying here a lot more than I thought, and my friend and I have already booked two nights for RIAT next year. Thanks to all who work here, you all do a great job."

"I visited bampton in December during the snow it was a real winter wonderland. after the walk and enjoying the landscape I was ready to warm up again and get a tee. and fortunately the bakery was open and I had the most amazing cream tea this was the moment I felt in love with scones! it is such a cozy and friendly place and these cakes are really extraordinary!"
