"Great fish and chips place that offers battered, crumbed or grilled style fishes. Also a few other optiobs but this is what I had tried. The star of the menu and the reason I made my way up here was the Coral Trout and it did not dissapoint. Add the homemade tzatziki sauce, that was one of the best I ever had."

"Best fish and chips I have ever eaten. I googled the best fish and chips in port Douglas and Dave’s fish and chip came up so we thought we would give them a go. I’m so glad we did! Starting with ordering your food you are greeted with very happy and helpful staff that can help you choose something suitable for you. The fish we had was the red emperor and oh my god it was and is the best fish I have ever eaten! It was then followed by very yummy crispy chip. We also got home made potato cakes and I was blown away again! They were so creamy and yummy yet again the best I have ever eaten. I would highly recommend Dave’s fish and chips not only for their amazing customer service but also their delicious food."

"Family dinner here last night at Port Douglas. Food was way over priced for what you got. You have to order sides with every meal at $9+ each. Paying $25.00 for piece steak bit rich. It was quite windy when we went and as you are sitting out on open decking very cool and not really pleasant. Wouldn't bother again."
