"Family run. Very friendly staff who are a delight. Cosy and comfortable inside and ability to eat outside if the weather is warm. Great breakfasts and good choices of healthy and less healthy options. Smashed avocado and poached eggs is always good and the sausages are always worth ordering. Good coffee. Well priced and well worth a visit."

"Nice and auhentic Thai at a reasonable price. The fish cake starters are small and not worth the cost . Not really a restaurant more a take away although you can eat in but very small and no atmosphere more cafe."

"Tonight there was a family contract, but was extremely disappointed. on the first look it seemed nice decor and beautifully presented eating. the food was inadequate. some dishes were bland and tasteless, others overcooked the worst sushi I ever had! the service was very good, attentive and efficient, but could not have been worth for food that it would not have been worth half price. as a native I feel that they really missed a trick here, I will certainly not go back."

"I booked the upstairs room for a private party of 30 in December 2019. Thanks to the organisation by the manager Natalie and the other members of her team it was a great success. Everyone was very helpful. The room looked lovely with Christmas lights and the tables arranged round the side of the room, with the disco set up in the window alcove. Several of the guests commented on it. There was no need for any extra decorations. I agreed with Natalie that we would have drinks organised for upstairs with sparkling,red and white wine and discussed the number of bottles in advance that might be required. I was given a member of staff for the evening to take orders for soft drinks( there were some underage teens in the party) and for beer and lager from the bar and also to help with the wine. This worked really well as everyone stayed in the room and added to the atmosphere. I was kept updated discreetly by Sophia who stayed with us for the evening, as to how the wine was going and how the bar tab was going which gave me the control of when to close it. Originally I was not happy with the buffet menu choice and asked if I could have something different. I was introduced to the lovely Thai lady called Nok who does the cooking who suggested I looked through the take away menu and then we could put together a suitable menu and she would price it per head, which is what we did. It was very reasonably priced and the food was delicious and catered for vegetarians as well. She came to help serve as well with another member of her staff. It was all very well organised and the evening went with out a hitch. It was a great place to have a birthday party and I would certainly recommend the Foresters. A huge thank you to everyone who was involved."
