"What a great café! Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and tasty coffee. The food selection is simple, but well made and very tasty (paninis, sandwiches and of course a good selection of cake). Just right for a café. After all, if you are looking for a meal you should be in a restaurant All in all, one of my favourite cafés here in Alcester. Pop in and have a coffee when you are around. Enjoy."

"Started off badly. The room we were given (42) smelled , the walls had been badly repaired and painted over and the shower was so hot on even the coolest setting I could barely get under it. They changed the room for us in a blink. Made me wonder if others had complained before. We were upgraded to a much larger room 47. Lots of space but the bed was two connected, not a genuine king or double. It was very clean , the bed was comfortable. The place is a little dated but has good parking right in front and no noise. This may have earned it three stars but I have lifted it as the restaurant was a pleasant surprise . The food was a little expensive but portion sizes were good and the food very tasty. The breadcrumbs prawn starter was to die for. We have family that might need to stay here, they will like it. Breakfast in the morning was a little limited. Others do it better, but there was enough."

"Visited on a Sunday morning as we had previously visited the garden centre and wanted to sit in the beautiful nature hide in the gardens but felt like we needed some brekkie to start. we ordered 2 full breakfasts and a mushrooms on toast we also ordered a cafétiear for 3 (a 2+1) The coffee was the perfect strength and we all had 2 cups each. our food arrived in a good time and was all hot and very well presented. there was enough food for everyone. the fried potatoes were really tasty and although could have been a little more crisp IMHO it didnt spoil it as they were proper potatoes and not just pre frozen crisps (like i have had at another local farm-shop cafe) safe to say we will defo be stopping by again. we dont normally give 5 stars very easily but this is well earnt"
