"My mum I had lunch here on Saturday during a visit to Tavistock had a very positive experience. Once seated outside at a bench table covered by a gazebo for shelter, we were greeted by a friendly waitress who brought a menu to...us. There was plenty of choice, both of hot cold meals snacks. However given that the weather was on the chilly side, we both opted for the All Day Breakfast mum the traditional me the vegetarian option. The food came promptly I was really impressed that, without asking or discussing alternatives, they had given me an extra hash brown with my meal as I didn’t want the egg option (fried). They could have just left it off! We really enjoyed our meal it ‘ticked the box’. Good food good service are not difficult and Polly’s certainly delivered on both. We will definitely go back next time we are in Tavistock. Well done!"

"Just want to leave a review as I previously checked trip advisor if they did gluten free options, someone said they did in 2022. They do do not- other than jacket potato. Just hopefully helping someone out in the future if it’s a food requirement. Apart from this, it’s a cute pub. Staff were very friendly and helpful! The food was absolutely delicious for us gluten monsters."
The rooms on site are wheelchair accessible and can also be used with a wheelchair or physiological disabilities, and there is no-charge WiFi. If the weather conditions are right, you can also have something to eat outside.

"The warmest reception! after a long journey from brighton, the renter and his personal we made us feel so welcome and at home, we felt landing on the road in the safe harbour after hours. beautiful green environment, with the sound of vogelsong and river, a toasty log herd roaring in the herd, house made huhn and lauchcake made by a very charming chef. the best introduction in devon we could have experienced. exceptional service of any person we have met. "Excellent worth 2 pornstars, 2 desserts and 4 coffees a few pence short £30. we had ham, egg and chips, it also came with a large mixed salad, apfel and zinimon crumbled with tinted cream, bananas, rum and rosin ices, with 2 coffees while we waited and 2 to finish, coffee was exceptional."
