"We visited The Cloche Hat on 24th May for our wedding anniversary. This is the first time we’ve visited since it changed from Stovells. We were not disappointed. We had the best time. Head chef Kyle and his sous chef Jason were fantastic hosts. A lovely card was waiting on our table, which was a really lovely touch. The food was to die for, it was so delicious and really well balanced. It felt and tasted really indulgent which made for making our celebration really special. The canapés were divine, another really nice touch. The drinks were great, beautiful cocktails and gorgeous champagne. Husband would love to see a cider here though ; We had such a special evening, the service was excellent, we were made to feel so welcome and it was the most perfect way to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Thank you so much! We will definitely be back and would highly recommend a visit!"

"We took my son and his girlfriend to the cloche Hat to celebrate his 21st birthday. We all agreed we had a wonderful experience. The food was excellent. All the staff were very attentive, friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. We will certainly return to the cloche Hat. Steve and family"

"We are locals and can’t speak highly enough about the food and hospitality offered at the Broomhall Hutt. We appreciate that not everyone knows those who work in the pub but they do so with the best intentions to serve us, members of the public. I’m saddened by the last review. The other night we had a lovely medley of starters- all very tasty. I would ask those in the last post to give the pub another chance. Keep up the good work team!"

"There were surprises in the Dessert section. “Muscavado, marcapone, plumen, passion” was a fun when a loose interpretation of a deconstructed tiramasu. the deep, sweet enough of the muscavado replicated the coffee liqueur. but the dessert went much further with its use of planted and rusty soaked passion fruit to create a delicious, stylish dessert."
