"Local restaurant along the pizza/tarte flambee idea with traditional Alsace food on the menu. Pleasant setting in the middle of town with a terrace. We sat outside and had a very traditional meal. Little disappointed that they only had one local beer. Service was good although it took a long time for the bill to arrive"

"It was during a small stay in the area that I made a stop to selestat and enjoyed the good things offered by this fair of the. Salt pie you have basic pies but the most comes after, for dessert, the dilemma is terrible, between the meringue pie has rhubarb, the meringue pie chocolate pears, the white cheese pie, the almond apple pie... I stop there and let you discover the other sweets that offer to us. The staff present and discreet at once."

"A good place where we had fun coming to dinner on the first and last night of our holiday. The opportunity to test the famous Alsatian flambées pies. These have been very appreciated, special mentions for those with tomme and the other with salmon. They are light but generous enough to not stay on hunger. The desserts are also pleasant. The melba strawberry is very well garnished in fruit, which is rare! Bravo also to the staff (salle and kitchen) who contributed to the good work of our meals."

"We had dinner here on a Saturday evening without a booking. Its a small place and the staff are friendly and efficient. However, we were somewhat disappointed with our meals. While the portion size was good, the lamb was tough and the fat had not been rendered down; and the sides of vegetables were frozen veges. The veal in mushroom sauce was cooked ok, with lots of mushrooms in the sauce, but again the fat on the meat was not rendered. We saw others eating tartes flambees and these looked good. It seems reasonable value for money, but I would stick to ordering the tartes next time."

"We visited here after reading excellent reviews and were pleased with the general ambience when we arrived . However , after being seated we waited over 15-20 mins for a menu let alone being asked for a drink water would have been nice) ! Eventually I left the table and got a menu myself ! We ordered our drinks , water and wine, no wine glasses were produced . The solo waitress was so preoccupied , plus dealing with a few take outs, we couldn't get her attention without leaving the table again , which eventually we did to get a glass off the bar. Once our pizzas arrived 30-40 mins after our drinks) I have to say mine was quite good and the side salad too, but my husbands was doughy and undercooked. We just wanted to leave as soon as we had eaten. Perhaps it was a bad night as there seemed to be one chef and one waitress ! They need more staff .its a shame as I think the food could be ok and it wasn't expensive ."
When the weather is nice you can also eat outside.

"Very good choice of products, food was also very good. I found the menu a bit all the same for the evening, just basically beef on the main dishes but, all was indeed very yummy. Kids friendly as well, parking on site but if you come from the downtown you'll miss the Parking sing as it's cover by a tree. Worth paying a visit for all the above and very friendly service."
