"It seems most reviews are about the Octoberfest. I’m here to review the membership criteria. Both of my parents were born and raised in Germany. I grew up in a German speaking household, with my two German parents and a German grandmother. We spoke German at home regularly, cooked German meals and kept German traditions going. I have many relatives in Germany and throughout my childhood and now, I visit as much as I can. Sadly, my relatives are getting old and passing away. I really wanted to join the club to keep my heritage alive. I wanted to keep my language skills up and make friends with others that share the same experiences as I have. I’ve tried now twice to join. What’s the issue? Well, I don’t know two current members to sponsor me. At one point my mom (who lives too far away to join) called up a friend of hers and asked if she would sponsor me. She agreed but she’s in her mid 80’s and can’t drive at night and lives all the way in Lancaster, PA. The club demanded she appear, with me for an 8pm meeting to discuss my membership. So, that fell through and I didn’t have a second sponsor anyway. The whole experience has been upsetting. It’s sad that you all can’t see the value in people based on what the person can bring to the organization. Instead, it’s all about who you know."

"I am a wedding photographer (Dez Renee Photography) and I photographed a wedding there on the 21st and it was very nice, clean and the staff was very helpful and accommodating. There was one person that stood out and that was David. He was amazing with the bride and groom and was so helpful when it come to me getting some great photos. I would recommend this place to my couples that are looking for a venue!! Very impressed"

"Was thrilled to see a vegan-friendly menu and went on options with my picky 6 years old. After the guy at the front let us know that we take awhile, he goes back in the back and then-loud enough to be heard clearly over the whole place- openly complained about how we decided forever (all 2 minutes at this point) and make continuous take on (over my 6 years old not vegan, though he was 100% vegan his whole life- he was only 6. when we went, he gave commentaries about us who wanted nothing to do with which I quickly corrected him, that we could hear everything he had said about us. his reaction was a nonverbal oh good we went on this point. I'm not sorry to enter this place from here."
